Higgsfield Charged Me Twice: Refund Steps
What a duplicate charge usually means, how to verify it, and how to get it reversed quickly.
Updated 13/08/2026
First, check it is really two charges
Card issuers show a temporary authorisation hold alongside the final settlement, which looks like a double charge for two to five business days. Compare the transaction IDs in your bank app: a hold that later disappears was never charged.
Genuine duplicates
- Two subscriptions on two accounts (email sign-up plus social sign-in).
- A retried payment after a first attempt that actually succeeded.
- A plan change that started a new subscription without ending the old one.
Check your invoice history for two invoices with different IDs on the same date - that is the proof you need.
Requesting the refund
- Collect both invoice IDs, the amounts, dates and the account email on each.
- Cancel the duplicate subscription so it does not renew - see how to cancel.
- Contact Higgsfield billing support with the invoice IDs and ask for reversal of the duplicate only.
Avoid a chargeback if you can
Bank disputes usually suspend the account until resolved and take far longer than a direct refund. Use the billing charge fix for the fastest route, and the login fix if you cannot open the invoice history.
