Sign-in failures during an incident affect everyone. Confirm on the status page or run the down checklist before resetting anything.

The duplicate account trap

Signing up with email and later using Google - or the reverse - can create two separate accounts with the same address. Your plan and credits live on only one. Try each sign-in method in turn and check which one shows your projects.

Wrong password loops

1. Reset the password rather than guessing; repeated failures can trigger a temporary lockout.
2. Paste the password into a plain text field first to catch trailing spaces from a password manager.
3. Wait 15 to 30 minutes after a lockout before trying again.

No reset email? See password reset email not arriving.

Signed in, then immediately signed out

This is almost always local state. Clear cookies and site data for the domain, disable blockers and privacy extensions for the session, allow third-party cookies for the sign-in flow, and correct a badly wrong system clock, which invalidates tokens.

Locked out of a paid account

Renewals continue while you are locked out. Follow the login fix and, if a charge lands meanwhile, the billing charge fix.
